Since I was contracted as a multi media coordinator this last summer at the Yakama Nation Library, I have also become the Liaison to the Yakama Nation Tribal School. Currently we are working on putting together a school newspaper for the Journalism class. When I attended, there was no newspaper. Therefore, I am excited to provide my expertise in layout and print design. I’m going to pitch the idea of calling the newspaper, Talons, because the school’s mascot is the eagles. Talons, to me suggest how sharp this project will be.
